Personal Information we collect

In order to perform our treatments in a safe environment and to achieve the best possible results we can when working with you we will obtain the following personal details from you:

• Name

• Address

• Contact details – email/phone numbers

• Medical information relative to the treatments you require

 

How we obtain personal information and why we have it

We will only obtain the above information from yourselves at the time of booking/consultation or performing a treatment. 

 

We will not obtain personal information from third parties. 

 

We need to obtain the information we do to administer the correct treatments and products for you.  Your safety is paramount.  Our decisions for treatments and product usage will be based on the information you provide to us.

 

From time to time, we will use your contact information to send you details about our treatments, products and/or any offers we are running.  If you don’t wish to receive these, you can notify us at anna@monnisbrowandbeauty.co.uk.

 

We may sometimes use before and after pictures to monitor and analyse results.  We minimise the areas concerned for privacy purposes and focus on the areas concerned only.  We may use the photo’s for marketing purposes but will ask your permission and we never display names of clients on any material produced as a result of use.

 

We (unless you have expressly asked us to and given permission to) will not share your information with any other party whatsoever.

 

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

 

1. Your consent.  You give us permission to hold this information for the purposes we have specified.  You can remove your consent at any time, but we may not be able to perform treatments on you in the future due to lack of information.  If you want to withdraw consent, then contact anna@monnisbrowandbeauty.co.uk to do so.

2. Legal obligation.  We will not be able to perform our treatments or procedures legally if you we do not hold the correct information about you and therefore services will be declined.

3. Vital interests.  If we do not hold sufficient medical information about you at the time of services being performed we may not be able to protect or assist should there be a medical emergency.

 

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored.  Your information will often be a combination of manual records, securely stored, or electronic files, securely stored in the cloud.

 

We use the following software in which we will hold your information on:

• Faces Consent

• Fresha

 

It will not be held longer than needed and after 12-18 months of non-contact between you and Monni’s Brow & Beauty Limited, we will confidentially destroy your contact and any other details we hold for you.  Manual records will be confidentially shredded.  Electronic details will be permanently deleted.

 

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

 

Your right of access – you have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

 

Your right to rectification – you have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate.  You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

 

Your right to erase – you have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

 

Your right to restriction of processing – you have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

 

Your right to object to processing – you have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

 

Your right to data portability – you have the right to ask that we transfer your personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

 

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights.  If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
